What is a mailing list?

A mailing list is a way of creating groups of people's e-mail addresses. By sending mail to one address the whole group gets the message. This puts the responsibility of getting information from the club in the hands of our members. It also makes it easier for our officials to communicate with members without having to rely on one persons maillist in his or her mail software.
